what are peter sellers' best movies?

Anonymous

-Dr. Strangelove: Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964)
-Being There (1979)
-Hoffman (1970)
-I Love You, Alice B. Toklas! (1968)
-The Party (1968)
-A Shot in the Dark (1964)
-Lolita (1962) (He’s not in it THAT much, but his scenes are definitely worth it. Plus it’s a good movie in general)
-I also enjoyed There’s a Girl in My Soup (1970) and Casino Royale (1967).
-Also, What’s New Pussycat (1965) is worth a watch. The movie was so-so but he’s really good in it.
-Oh, and The Ladykillers (1955) was enjoyable. Plus he’s still pudgy and adoooorable in that one!

These are the ones that I think are most worthwhile (of all the ones I’ve seen anyway). All the Panther films (A Shot in the Dark included) are good, but the later ones were made purely for money so they do seem cheaply made. But Peter is good in them. Hope this helps!

Say Anything (1989)

Traveling back to California in his place, across country, after our last stadium show, Frank didn’t want to sleep. It was late at night. He thought everyone else was asleep. I watched him. He went to the back of the plane and quietly retrieved the snack food from the galley. He got down on his hands and knees and surreptitiously stuffed everyone’s shoes with popcorn, peanuts, jelly beans, gumdrops, crackers, and nuts.

Frank Sinatra, my friend, legend, and glorious survivor, would do anything to have some fun.
